JAMES BAILEY

After graduating with a BA in Economic and Social History, James taught English as a Second Language for three years in China, Switzerland and the UK, specialising in assisting teenage learners. Following two years honing his interview skills in market research, he returned to the education sector and joined Dukes Education in September 2015. James provides HR support for the whole Group assisting with recruitment, training and compliance.

Rosie Shann

As Head of Operations, Rosie manages the quality standards of Dukes Education’s Consultancy services, delivering our wide range of academic courses, programmes and tuition support throughout the year. She also manages our 1,800-strong network of tutors, who mentor students privately and at our events. She is the organisational presence behind all the support candidates receive from the Dukes Education Consultancy.

JOHN WILSON

In 2014 John joined Acorn House as Principal, bringing his expertise in the biological and medical sciences to the college, along with his extensive knowledge of medical school admissions. John is a lay member of the university admissions panel for medical school undergraduate entry at UCL (University College London) and has also performed this role at Imperial College and Queen Mary University in London.

EMMA MERRETT

Emma has been Head of Human Resources at Dukes Education since September 2014, where she uses her years of experience in education training and recruitment for the benefit of the whole Group. 

WILL FINLAYSON

As Operations Director for Summer Boarding Courses, Will oversees all enquiries for securing a place on one of our high-quality study holiday courses. He also oversees all our relationships with external agencies and schools, who kindly provide the excellent facilities and settings for our programmes. 

NATASHA TURNER

Natasha leads Dukes Education’s marketing and publicity operations, using her experience in various sectors to guide our communications and ensure that our values are always present. 

JOHN PICKLES

Jon is an experienced Finance Director with a strong background in technology and learning companies. He is a Chartered Management Accountant with extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity fundraising, business coaching, financial and HR management.
 
Prior to joining Dukes Education, Jon was Finance Director of ILX Group PLC, an AIM-quoted training and technology business with operations in Australia, New Zealand, Dubai, Denmark, mainland Europe and the United States. 
 

AATIF HASSAN

As well as having a successful career in private equity, Aatif is also the Chairman of Governors of Minerva Education, a newly-formed mainstream independent schools group in the UK; Chairman of Cavendish Education, a group of three schools for pupils with dyslexia and autism schools and Deputy Chairman of Governors of St.James Independent Schools (including Chairman of the Finance & Estates Committee and Chairman of St. James Junior School). Aatif is also on the advisory board of EdEx UK and Woxsen School of Business.

REBECCA WILLIAMS

Rebecca leads our renowned Oxbridge Applications team. She holds a degree in Theology from the University of Oxford and now coordinates all of our private client support. Families seek her advice in Private Consultations and find her an invaluable source of ongoing support for up to two years. She works closely with our advisory board of former Oxford and Cambridge Admissions Tutors to deliver the expertise and practical support that underpins our remarkable success rate.
